We are currently in Indio, CA at our WHR park. The weather is truly perfect--sunny, mid 70's and warm breezes now and then. This park provides us with the amenities we like, hot tub for Frank and warm swimming pool for Dianne. Our site is a full-hook up site on a great grassy lot. It is quiet and peaceful, with good neighbors--what could be better. This week we have spent our time catching up on those things that we could not do in Yuma, like Costco and Trader Joes--yeah--stocked up on all of our favorites.
Then there was those other things that we let slide. We have needed to renew our auto and motorhome insurance and check out comparative prices, done and happily saved some money--good for us. Then there was the taxes--not so good--we owe again. Gee can we change this to be at least even???
Well we did do several things that brought a smile to our faces. The College of the Desert Marketplace gave us some good buys, the local farmer's markets provided us with good, healthy choices, and Palm Springs Thursday night street fair was just plain fun!!
We attended the art musmem for FREE just prior to the street fair, and this was a highlight of our time here. The night before we left Indio, we had the pleasure of enjoying dinner with Boomer friends Judy and Luke at La Pinata. The food was good, but the time together was WONDERFUL!!
